Sleep Apnoea and Driving

How obstructive sleep apnoea can cause road deaths

Obstructive sleep apnoea leads to road accidents. It’s time to tackle the issues that stop workers and professional drivers from coming forward to be tested.

This is the view of John Stradling, Emeritus Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Oxford University.

Professor Stradling’s article was published at www.healthawareness.co.uk in June 2017 and in it he aims to raise awareness of Sleep Apnoea and driving in his role as part of the support group The OSA Partnership.
